I enjoy so much how you created this post and coming-together-ness in poetry form. And what a cool idea!
Joanna Macy was probably the first person I ever heard talking about these ideas, many years ago. I was introduced to her work by Rebecca Gasior Altman, an environmental sociologist who writes, and writes beautifully, about plastics. This is just one of her essays: https://aeon.co/essays/how-20th-century-synthetics-altered-the-very-fabric-of-us-all
I think I've mentioned Rune Rasmussen and his Nordic Animism work to you before? Maybe? It's YOuTube but I think categorized as podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BltVV25kPLM
Also, this is a BRILLIANT idea and, synchronicity, I've had this itch the last couple weeks to watch Contact with my kids! (Edited to add this line and also links to the above, which I forgot.)

Almost anything by Stephen Buhner. I might start with Earth Grief. Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm is also magnificent.
And sorry, I don't have time to go check out a new platform and look upload copies of the cover. But if what you want is references, those are mine.
You wanna add ‘em to the Arena or should I? 😄
Please do!
