Hey, thanks for this article. Did you like Uninhabitable Earth? Do you recommend it? Sounds terrifying and hopeless

It is terrifying and somewhat hopeless! I'm involved in a lot of local climate work in Lancaster with a group called RegenAll. I read half of the Uninhabitable Earth and put it down. I decided I didn't really need to spend even more time dwelling in the pain of our present situation on planet Earth. The question I try to ask myself as I consider whether or not to engage in a particular climate book/story is: will this nudge me toward deeper action or despondency? So much is broken... but so much can be done. I find life by engaging here with neighbors in work that can make our communities more resilient.
